Class Descriptions

CLASS STYLES

SharkHIIT – HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training.  10 Full Body exercises (40 seconds of high intensity moves with 20 second rest intervals) repeated for 4 sets.  Class uses dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells and mats. 45 minutes

 

 3-2-1 Circuit – Multiple sets of 3 minutes of Strength moves, 2 minutes of Cardio and 1 minute of Core.  Full Body Workout with a lot of muscle groups.  Class uses dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells and mats. 45 minutes 

 

SharkKICK – SharkFIT version of Cardio Kickboxing. This is a high energy Full Body workout using body weight and cardio moves. Despite the name, this is a noncontact workout. All punches and kicks are thrown into the air.  Class uses a mat.  45-60 minutes

 

PoundFIT ® – Instead of listening to the music, you become the music in this exhilarating Full Body workout the combines strength, cardio, core and conditioning while using RIPSTIX ®.  RIPSTIX ® are lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising.  POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Class uses a mat and RIPSTIX ® are provided. 30-60 minutes

 

CARD SHARKS – When a deck of cards and fitness come together as one!  Strength and Cardio moves based on suit/face value of cards. Fast paced and Fun! Class uses dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells and mats. 45-60 minutes

 

TABATA – High intensity physical training in which very short periods of demanding activity are alternated with shorter periods of rest, typically 20 seconds of exercise with 10 seconds of rest. This is a Full Body workout that includes Strength, Cardio and Core.  Class uses dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells and mats. 30-45 minutes

 

BarreFIT – This group fitness is a hybrid workout class combining ballet inspired moves with elements of Pilates and Strength Training.  Class incorporates a ballet barre, 3 lb dumbbells, mat and at times a resistance band and small exercise ball.  Barre focuses on high reps of small range movements.  45-60 minutes

 

Side note for all classes – All levels are welcome.  All moves can be modified to meet your fitness level.
